Our sustainability is at the heart of everything we do,

from the beginning of the coffee chain to the cup of coffee.

The origin of our coffee

We buy 75% of our green beans in bulk, and they are delivered to us in a CO2-friendly way. Big bags of 1,000 kg each result in less packaging and less transport.

Fairtrade coffee

Oké Koffie's Fairtrade range complies with Belgian and international Fairtrade standards. We proudly carry the principles of fair trade: a guaranteed minimum price, ecological farming methods and social working conditions. 

Economical production system

From energy-efficient slow roasting technology to advanced packaging equipment with a smaller carbon footprint, our new machinery strives to produce coffee with minimal environmental impact. Moreover, we invested in solar panels, efficient LED lighting and energy-efficient heating and cooling systems.

CO2-friendly transport

Our carbon-friendly transport network, with hybrid cars and soon an electric van, ensures a short distance between our roastery and the customer. Local production and efficient planning minimise our logistics footprint.

ISO 22000

Oké Koffie has obtained the ISO 22000 standard, which means that we comply with internationally recognised food safety standards. So we don't do just anything in the coffee industry, no, we impose strict requirements on ourselves, know the context in which we work, control all possible risks and have a strict plan of action in case of possible problems that could threaten food safety.
